Convert software licence to hardware?

We have a 25IP software licence in our Moscow office.

The PC this was running on died badly the other day and we want to switch to an Astaro hardware appliance instead.  (ASG220 probably).

Is it possible to convert the existing licence across to a hardware one?
(We just bought a 50IP hardware renewal key with Full Guard for them so I jolly well hope so).  (I cant apply this key to the software key)...

    I think this has been asked before..i don't remember the answer..AFAIK you can't convert directly...you'd have to get an ASG..wipe the image..manually install ASL and then use that license..that of course voids hardware support..again AFAIK.

    Simon, talk to your reseller.  They should be able to work out an arrangement with Astaro.  With as many sites as you have, I'd be tempted to try an ASG 120.  If the key hasn't been applied, you should be able to trade it in.
