Change RAM on ASG 120

Hello,

I want to exchange the RAM on my ASG 120 (2011). The device is just for testing and I have ordered this RAM module:

Kingston 2GB DDR2 PC2-4200 533MHz CL4

When I turn on the device it is just beeping.

Is there any way to get this module working?

the beeping means the ram is not compatible. what speed /type/amount of ram was in there before?

IF it is a Rev. 2 or Rev. 3 unit, you will not be able to upgrade the RAM -- there is a chipset limitation on that unit that prevents it from going above 1GB.

As a little FYI, changing the memory voids your warranty and support. Not a big deal if your using this at home with a free Home License. Very big deal if you are using this in a business with a paid license. If the later, make certain that your management knows that you are doing this and the repercussions.
