ASG Wireless Controller Question

I have the ASG running quite well.  I now want to add the wireless part.  I did get an AP 30.  The ASG sees it but I am missing something in the set up because it isn't working as it should.  I have an interface set up, DHCP but nothing.  I can't see it as an option to connect too.  Is there any good documentation on how to set this up... or am I just overlooking it...??

    Does the AP show up as 'Pending Access Point' at 'Wireless Security >> Access Points'?

    If yes, accept to add it, after that create a wireless network and then please check that the AP is assigned to an AP SSID group at 'Wireless Security >> Access Points >> Grouping'.

    If not, did you set the correct Interface Network at 'Wireless Security >> Global Settings >> Access Control' where the AP is located? Please keep in mind that a DHCP server is necessary for the APs to work at all. You can use the ASG integrated DHCP server functionality for this, configure at 'Network Services >> DHCP'.

    got it...  Looks like I can now see the SSID, connect and ping everything on the LAN side but can't get out...  what could I be missing...??

    is it a separate network or did you make it "bridge to lan??" If its bridge to lan, it will share the same properties as your local internal interfaces, if its separate, you need packetfilter, masq, etc...like a wired separate internal zone would require.

    it is in bridge to lan mode and seems to be working now... very nice... thanks for the help..
