Intel Gigabit VT Quad Port Server Adapter not passing traffic

I am trying to utilize one Intel Gigabit VT Quad Port NIC which uses two 82575GB Gigabit Controllers. Astaro loads drivers for the NIC and I am able to assign IP addresses to each of the ports. All looks fine till I try to pass traffic through the card. Nothing seems to go through. I have taken my laptop and ping each port individually but still no responses. From the Astaro management interface, I am able to ping the IP addresses for each port but not any hosts that are on the same network. The card is listed as being compatible with Astaro 8.203 which is what I am using on this router. Also I have done some research and it appears there might be some issue with the drivers but not too sure. Any help would be great.

Hi, Beau, and welcome to the User BB!

The Intel cards are the first choice of the folks here that like to put Astaro software on their own box, so that should be fine.

In Astaro, ping behavior is regulated on the 'ICMP' tab of 'Firewall'. Was that your issue?

Hi Beau,

some simple thoughts from a windows admin :-).

- did you reboot the asg after assigning the new Interfacedefinitions to the new hardware?
- are there any paketfilterrules/DNAT's that could prevent the traffic?
- are there entries in the paketfilterlog?
- ARP issue on the connected switch?

keep in mind astaro blocks everything by default. We need to see your packet filter rules..what proxies you are using and your masquerading and nat rules.
