changing hardware and move configuration?

hi,

I want to move my astaro home version V8.300 to another hardware. other board, other cpu, other nic's. Can I re-import the configuration to the new one? I've tried this in earlyer versions, but it didn't work because of nic numbering.

Hi Frank,

This can be easily done by importing the backup to the new maschine. The only thing to review is the Nic ordering, which you already mentioned. But that can be done by editing the interface and assigning the correct physical nic. After that everything will work as it used to. You will lose the old logs and reports though.
