How do I go about upgrading 7.5xx HA-clusters to 8.x

I've got two ASG 7.5xx production HA-clusters, one hot-standby cluster and one active-active cluster I want to upgrade to v8.3 (8.3xx) running on Dell PowerEdge servers.

I've also got a (licenced&supported) virtual HA-hot-standby-cluster in staging/test that runst 7.5xx.

Is there a doc on best practice/best way to do an upgrade this with as little downtime as possible?

    Hi joffer. Many users take advantage of their secondary boxes to minimize downtime during an upgrade.  At any time for the active passive boxes (and durning a low usage time for your active/active) you can break the cluster and just install v8 on the secondary box. Keep it off the network and restore a backup from their v7 master. From there your downtime is minimal, just swap the new v8 box in for the v7 (don't forget to reboot your switches or clear arp caches after). Once the new v8 boxis running. You can install v8 on the now unneeded v7 and the rebuild your cluster,  

    This strat assumes it is acceptable to have some time where only one box is operational , but reduces your total downtime drastically, as while you are prepping the first v8 box the v7 is still running, and the new v8 is running while you the prepare the other half.
