Astaro upgrade - slow network performance

Hi guys,

Last friday we proceeded to upgrade our ASG320 from v7 to v8.

Does anyone have experienced slow performance since the upgrade ?
The firmware version is 8.102, I´m waiting  6 pm to upgrade the next version until 8.300.

Thanks...

  • Does anyone know what NICs are used in the 320?  If they're based on Intel, I wonder if Tom's suggestion might be the answer???

That Generic Receive Offload issue that Tom described only affects bridged configurations -- unless the poster in this thread is running in bridged mode, that's probably not going to help.  I'd recommend contacting Astaro Support ASAP to get this IPS utilization issue resolved.

  • Ok I was checking our ASG320, our technical support is suggesting that it needs a hardware improving because our ASG is from 2007, it only has 1 CPU and because of that IPS is consuming a lot CPU processing tasks.

is it possible to improve the hardware ? adding another CPU maybe ?
