Yes, it will work fine... 7.500 (well, really 7.502 -- there were a few bugs) supports the new "on demand" style licenses just fine. Any particular reason you want to stay on 7.5xx? 8.103 and 8.300 (I would avoid 8.2xx) are stable releases at this point.

The only reason is running the old box with the new license, while setting up the new one.
