200/20 Mbit hardware?

Hi All!

Have been testing a lot of different FireWall UTM releases, using VMWare and chose Astaro as the clear winner for our use.

Our internet line is 50/10 Mbit today, but our Internet provider (get.no) max line are 200/20 Mbit. I would like the Astaro box to be able to handle that speed with full UTM functionality.

We are 4 users, have 4x Mac´s, iPads´s, iPhone´s, AppleTV, PS3 and a Qnap NAS. 

Where thinking:
Intel i3-2120T (dual core 2.6GHz)
4-8GB ram
2x Intel PRO Giga Nic
Intel 40GB SSD 
Intel DH61BE mAtx Motherboard
(IntelRegistered Desktop Board DH61BE)
Lian-Li or Silverstone case

Will this be able to handle this without us losing any  speed, or should we go for a i5 Quad Core?

    I should have been more clear about which features I´m planing to use:
    - Firewall
    - Intrusion Prevention
    - Web Filtering
    - POP3 Proxy
    - Antivirus (both)
    - Antispam
    - AntiSpyware
    - Remote Access

    I have updated my shopping list with the i5-2400s Quad Core (65watt), and decided on 8GB ram.
    And will keep the SSD, since there will be TRIM support in release 9, later this year.

    The "great plan", is to build something that will last for 3-5 years (I hope). So I will rather build something overkill the first time, rather than having to do upgrades along the path (lazy). [:$]

    I currently have the following going on my "platform" host server at the house:
    hardware in host machine is 10 gigs of ram and 2 1.0 TB sata disks in software raid 1 and two 500 gig sata drives in software raid 1. Windows server 2008 r2 enterprise running the hyper-v role, backup AD, backup dns, split dhcp.

    1. astaro server quad virt cores. has dynamic usage up to 3 of the cores max runs on 500 gig array

    2. acc server 1 core 1 gig of ram runs on 500 gig array

    3. server 2008 enterprise doing a/d, file and print, dns, split dhcp functions. It also performs video/music server as well as wsus server. It also runs as the central spiceworks aggregator for all of my client networks for monitoring purposes. Runs on the 1TB array with the host server

    I run my music server 24/7.  I have up to seven pieces of stereo gear that can be fed data at any one time.  Typical max is five or so - some or all either sync'd or different tracks - usually streamed from across the net (as opposed to locally sourced), simultaneously.  It's not a lot of bandwidth, but it seems to keep the CPU's reasonably busy - especially when syncing many devices for concurrent play.   How much media streaming do you do out of your setup?  When everything is pushed, do you ever get dropouts, etc.?  I think it's the time slicing and resultant potential chunking of audio streams that has me worried the most.

    SSD TRIM support will be in v9. But most of the 'better' SSDs already have an internal garbage collection mechanism that works nicely even without TRIM - so TRIM is not always a must.
