There are two ASG 8.300 Up2Date packages in the wild, one is GA and the other is SR. You can tell the difference between the two by executing the following on the Shell:
# rpm -q ep-release
SR will return 8.300-9, GA will return 8.300-13. There were a number of bug fixes, the ANY issue I discovered probably being the biggest.

Peter, so you're saying the up2date that was released to the up2date servers after the GA was announced was a Soft-Release? That doesn't sound right at all. The version that ASGs download, according to past practice, is always a GA release -- at least that's been my experience in the 6+ years I've been slinging Astaro gear.
I think we maybe have a mistake in our communication, so please let me explain the releases:
* 8.300-9 Soft release, not pushed out via Up2date and available on ftp.astaro.de
* 8.300-13 General availability, pushed out via Up2date (has a number of fixes, specifically for ANY object)
* 8.300-14 General availability, pushed out via Up2date (contains changes to the installation script for HTTP Cache)
Does this explain the situation better?

Peter, that's exactly my understanding. In a previous post you indicated that one of the pushed out (via up2date) 8.300 updates was a SR version -- probably an accidental misstatement. No worries!
