8.3 oddness

I just had my astaro lock on me.  When i "powered" it back on there were tons of disk errors and i was suddenly back to 8.201.  considering this is a vm that's very strange.  I then upgraded to 8.300 and things seemed to work ok until various dnat rules and firewall rules would randomly stop working.  Going to try a fresh install of 8.3.  If it gets weird again i'm going back to 8.201 until v9.

  • Is this on hyper-v? FWIW 8.3 has been the stablest release so far for me in the v8 branch on esxi.
  • I've not seen that issue, but I've only run ASG virtualized on VMware Workstation (for demos / trade shows) and on ESXi 4.x / 5.0 -- how is your setup virtualized?

Oh saw your specs on your web page ... I guess it may be Hyper-V not playing nice.
