V8.x Restarts w Adaptec ANA62044/ANA64044LV Quad NIC

Hi,
I'm using ASG since 2004.
I had v 7.511 which worked very fine an stable. 
This week I upgraded to ASG 8.300 (new ISO software install, same machine). 

After update I have several restarts of the ASG (20-30 per day). In the log I see several PCI Bus congestions on the eth interfaces. When disconnecting one of the 4 ports, the ASG has no longer restarts. 

On the Astaro site in the v7 compatibility list Adaptec ANA62044 / ANA64044LV Quad Nic are listet as not supported. But on v7.511 they worked very well. In the HCL of ASG 8 these Nic are listet now.

Same issue after downgrading (new install) of 8.103!
Same issue with ANA62044 or ANA64044LV tested one after the other.
V8.x works with starfire nic driver

Does anyone have same problems?

    if the machine is restarting the card could be having issues.  I would try a different..aka Intel quad port card...or try the adaptec in a different slot.

    Hi,
    The Adaptec quad NIC ANA62044/ANA64044LV definitely won’t work anymore on ASG V8! 
    I’ve been testing both models (they worked very well in V7.511!). I tried different Adaptec cards in different PCI slots with still same problem: PCI Bus congestions and several restarts per hour. 

    After replacing the Adaptec NIC with another brand NIC few days ago, now everything works fine and stable. 

    Hope this helps other ASG users…
