Have you tried an Exception with the file server as a Source?
5 seconds? If that's a GB connection, then maybe it just takes that long for IPS to scan the file. Still, it's strange that this only started taking so long with 8.3.

PS Hmmm, if you have a bridge established on the Astaro, you might try installing the 8.303 Up2Date.

I have a bridge established and after installing the 8.303 firmware, everything is working fine. [:)]
