Astaro only using 1 of 4 CPUs

I was reviewing the performance of my installation and noticed something startling.
I have a 4 CPU installation on a VM and Astaro is using only one of these processors.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this.

I booted the machine and 3 procs are essentially flatlined at 0 while one is maxed out trying to load and run everything.

OK, now I tried the following:
Downloaded latest ESX image (asg-8.300-esx-v4.zip), imported OVF.
No option to change numbers of CPUs/cores on import.
Then changed from 1 vCPU to 2 CPU with 2 cores (makes 4 vCPUs).
Started the virtual machine.
uname -r gives
2.6.32.48-3.g686f74c-default

Doesn't look like multi processor support for me.

So it seems, the recommended image for using ASG on ESX(i) doesn't include multi processor support and also is 32 Bit only (no 64 bit version).

Not good :-(

Is there any way to enable multi processor support or update kernel?
