ASG active/passive mode: ha_takeover

Hi,

I just recognized that the command
/usr/local/bin/ha_takeover
does not work anymore on ASG v8.2x. This was very useful in v7.5 setups.

Is there a 'smooth' way to switch the active/passice ASG without rebooting the device via command line?

Hi ciscoman,

that command never worked this way. ha_takeover was a tool to start commands directly after a takover,
but was never used, so it got removed. Yes I agree, the chosen name was inappropriate [;)]

"ha_daemon -c takeover" is instead what you are looking for...
