I upgraded from 8.203 to 8.300 soft release. I tried the USB 3G card again but most of the parameters had been lost possibly because the wireless card was not connected at power on. Looking at the logs I can see the USB device being swapped between ports USB2 -> USB3. The lighs on the device only flash a t connection, but do not stay on.
I have tried the USB device in my Mac and the usb connects.
No matter I try I cannot get the wireless card to come out of standby. It gets a default wireless gateway from the ISP, but will not come on line.
I will have to re-install 8.202/203 to get the wireless features again. This will be done this afternoon because I am taking the ASG away with me. In a couple of days.
