I am having an issue with a Trendnet NIC (TEG-ECTX) card that I am using for my Astaro box running version 8.103. I was running the latest version but I reinstalled using an older version for troubleshooting purposes. The box and NIC were working fine for 6+ months then all of a sudden it started giving me trouble. The NIC is configured as the LAN interface and Astaro is not detecting it. For this reason also I can't connect to the web portal but I was able to the console and go through the logs (/var/) and found nothing that would shed any light on the problem. I'm also not seeing any entries for the NIC in the config files or when I try to run ifconfig.
In trying to create a low power box I had to go with a mini-itx motherboard and the only slot that was available was a PCI-E which is why I had to go with the Trendnet NIC. I don't have another PCI-E NIC to swap it with. It wasn't a cheap card so I am hesitant to think that it died on me within a year. I've tried reinstalling ASG multiple times and it will work for a day or two and quit again.
I've tried researching this myself as much as possible but I am hitting a brick wall. Can someone point me in the right direction (to resources/docmentation?), maybe a way to determine if the card is bad or not (console commands, maybe a log file I missed somewhere?).
Thanks for any help anyone can provide on this. I've been working on this issue for quite a while so let me know if something doesn't make sense and I'll clarify.
