8.202 Hangs on Install

Trying to install 8.202 on an older Tyan based system (which worked fine with 7x). I get as far as the install screen (Welcome to Astaro Security Gateway V8!), but then the keyboard locks up? Tyan "Tiger" dual AMD MB, 2gb Ram, 3Ware 8500s RAID card, Intel dual GN NIC.

Any suggestions/ideas?

I hit this on a older server as well. It turned out to be acpi related. See if a bios update is available. If you are using a ps2 kb try a usb kb. Otherwise there might be a grub tweak but some older systems it justisnt going to work at all.
