[8.202] Strange CPU-peaks in the last 2 weeks (postgres)

Hello

As you can see in the attached screenshots, our ASG320 [8.202] shows strange CPU-peaks every 15 mins which last 2 mins each time and are caused by postgres.

This behaviour began about 2 weeks ago and increased the CPU-usage from under 50% to over 75%.

I opened an ticket at Astaro (premium support) but they didn't find anything in the last 3 days.

Does someone know these symptoms and can tell me how to fix it ?

Node1 is slave at the time of the screenshot, node2 is master (3rd screenshot)

  • I thought that logging wasn't active at present.  Have you tried disabling log management?

It sounds ugly for both of you guys.  I bet Astaro winds up having to wipe out your databases to create fresh, new (empty) ones.

    Good luck!

  • I don't even have log management activated.

Astaro support keeps logging into my machine and not report back to me for 2 days now. I bet they're having difficulties understanding this as well. I really can't find anything in the logs.

  • I got an answer from Astaro support. This ugly issue is cause by an bug, which will be fixed with 8.203.

But they can't tell me, when 8.203 will be available.
