Hi all.
I have an ASG (8.202) VM running on ESXi 5.0. Everything seems to work fine except that I'm trying to bridge a few physical interfaces. I have them configured in ESX and the ASG sees them fine. And individually I can make each one work. The problem is that when I create a bridge (br0) the only interface that will then work is the original one (the "convert" interface). The others connect and I get link lights on both ends, but the ASG won't talk over the interfaces and any hosts connected can't see the ASG (no DHCP, no ping, etc.). If I break the bridge the interfaces all work individually again.
I know I've bridged interfaces before, but I don't believe I've ever done it with 8.x or on a VM. I can just hang a small switch off one working interface, but I only need 3 or 4 things connected to the ASG and using a separate switch seems like a waste when I have spare NICs.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
