Unable to Update ASG 8.201 to 8.202

This is the error message:
 Firmware Up2Date installation failed: An error occured during the RPM pre-installation test (1) 
I have tried the scheduled Update, have downloaded the updates from ftp and tried installing manually; all the same error. Can it be Hardware related?

    Is this a new install of 8.201 or has it gone through some upgrades previously?

    Have you tried rebooting, then initiating the up2date again afterwards?

    The install was a new V8. It has gone through 8.102 over 8.103 to 8.201.

    We have rebooted, reinitiated, tried everything. No success.

     The prefetch fails, then is successful... Up2Date download was successfull after a number of fails.  Pattern updates are up to date, though the last update had to be done manually - I could tell they weren't up to date because on the other Astaro we have the number was different. 

    Could this be caused by an intermittend internet connection? Should I look at port settings?

    I've seen some others report a similar issue that affected applying the 8.201 up2date when it was released.  In each case, the cause appeared to have to do with something left over from the 8.1x to 8.2x upgrade process.

    The quick fix is to save a config-backup from your current 8.201 install to a PC, reinstall using the latest (currently 8.201) ISO, upload and restore the config-backup that you saved previously, then you should be able to update to 8.202 without issue.
