Astaro & ESXi Setup Help

Alright so I'm having a problem setting up Astaro to work on my ESXi server, I'll just break down my config and where I'm at.

My esxi setup:

{Internet} -> vswitch 0 -> (eth0) Astaro (eth1) -> vswitch 1 -> LAN with VMs

My network from the internet side of things is 10.0.0.0/16.

Because the default astaro config has a 192.168.***.*** after I got the virtual appliance installed I logged in with root and changed the default IP/Subnet to 10.0.2.1/16 and added the default gateway to 10.0.0.1. I've then been able to get the setup up and running. The problem lies with the LAN with VMs trying to access the internet for anything. I'm enabling all internet services in setup and tried checking the DNS settings but to no avail.

DHCP is working, addresses are assigned.

Not exactly sure what is going on, just need to get the internet setup. Any ideas? Any good guides or reading? I couldn't find much searching the forum or the web.

    The first places to look for clues are always in the Packet Filer and Intrusion Prevention log files - any clues there?

    I'll check there again tonight when I get home.

    I think where I need to re-examine is making sure I have the FQDN correct (don't know if this would really cause any issues), correctly setup NAT with NAT Masquerading, and the packet filtering.

    Is there any specific issues that normally present Astaro from working out of the box (the virtual machine)? I thought since the wizard seemed to setup everything with the ip address ranges I needed and DHCP was working (even though I can not ping anything once I get the address) that it should work without any problems... sadly not.
