8.103 to 8.2

MOst of the units I manage downloaded 8.201 first, since it was smaller... just have patience and wait a bit for 8.200 to download as well... updates must be applied sequentially.  We are not updating our customers to 8.201 currently due to pending issues, but I do see the downloads occurring in reverse order (due to the size differential).

Or if you really want it now you could download it directly from the FTP server at ftp://ftp.astaro.com/Astaro_Security_Gateway/v8/up2date/ .

frankly i would wait to install 8.2xx until the release notes address several large http proxy issues.

I've manually loaded 8.200 GA, since my up2date was getting into a loop and was trying to install 8.201 without the 8.200 like the other before me.

During the update to 8.200 GA I got the errors below. Let's hope that the only error is the inability to delete the tgz package, not something else

I was able to further update to 8.201 but this is bothersome. This whole 8.200 upgrade has been itchy....

gotta give some feedback back for allowing us to use their home license at no charge.

i've been running he home releases since v4..v8 has been a nightmare for quite some time.  The home users are one voice however i can tell you partners aren't happy with this crud either...Astaro's going to have to shape up quickly or there aren't going to be many paid customers.

Hopefully it won't go the good ol' way ... get bought out and screw up the product.

So far 8.201 has been behaving good. CPU utilization up from 1% to 5%, RAM up 20%, Application Control doesn't work [;)]

yet another reason i'm sticking with 8.103 for a while.  8.2x isn't production quality yet.
