Hello all,
I would like to upgrade to the latest 8.2 version. We have an Astaro ASG-220, and like any upgrade for any OS, I like to take an image prior to the upgrade, so I can get back to exactly the state the machine was in before the upgrade.
Is there a recommended procedure for doing this with an Astaro HW appliance? If so, could you please share the link with me?
I did have to SSH into our ASG-220 and make a couple of changes to the PPTP VPN server, in /var/chroot-pptp/etc in order for our VPN users to "appear" on the same subnet as our local machines. This was to support an application that was picky about our remote users, and has worked excellent. I would get calls all the time prior to that change, so that is a requirement for us.
Are there any gottcha's or other things we need to pay attention to before the upgrade? I have already read the release notes, so I'm just looking for things that might not be documented or discussed in another thread.
Many thanks,
Bruce
