Hello,
I've had the following issue in the past: due to some kind of environmental change (hardware replacement, change in VM config of system replacement by swapping HDDs), the NICs assignment gets lost: AStaro keeps the only NICs (eth0, eth1, eth2) in it's config and just re-create new ethernet interfaces for the "new" ones. Of course, when that happens nothing works any more: I can't even connect to the web interface to reassign the rules (assuming I wanted to do that in the first place).
I usually resolved that by reinstalling and restoring a backup but I'm sure there must be a simpler way.
Any suggestion on how I could, from the console, re-assign physical Ethernet devices to "logical" ethX interfaces ?
