Up2date 8.201 released???

I guess the GA will include the functionality of 8.201

  No.  8.201 includes fixes for bugs that couldn't make it into 8.200 GA.  The release that you see today is geared towards those who have installed the 8.200 soft-release.  Since it has not been released yet to the auto u2d servers (and 8.200GA hasn't been released either), the 8.201 u2d should itself be considered a soft-release.

Thanks Scott, they hadn't posted anything on the Up2Date site when I noticed it on the ftp server. Where did you get the release notes?

EDIT: I am hoping for a 8.201 iso then? A clean 8.2GA install with an up2date missing at release time will be the first atleast for me.

They are in the u2d package.  If you upload it into WebAdmin>>Management>>up2date, you're able to read the notes on the overview tab.  If you are currently running the 8.200 soft-release, this 8.201 up2date will help alleviate some of the issues.  If you have not installed 8.200 yet, I would still recommend waiting until GA is officially released and announced.

If you have a production system DO NOT install 8.2 yet!!!
it is still unstable and too buggy (mails problems, proxy issues, memory and swap jumping up and down and more.
i was forced to go back to 8.103.
Great features tho...

Oops, forgot to give a little feedback here...

Installation was without any issues. I can't find any improvements relevant to me, though. I'm sill unable to browse certain websites with Opera through the transparent proxy (in 8.103 all these sites worked!).

I thought it was opera problem[:@] You should have beta tested with us even if it was for a little while when time permitted. I thought my opera version was broken and I love opera. Now I will have to use GOOGIL Chrome [:D]

The 8.21 release is supposed to fix some of the problems of 8.2 soft release but I agree I don't see proxy fix in the list. The 500 internal server error seems to have been fixed. That was the only two problems that I had. I didn't have any mail problems and swap problem is proxy related.

Hi Bill.
It seems that there is an issue with the relaying.
Some of the mails just didn't get thru in, my mail server couldn't send some of the mails out.
Those issues disappear after going back to 8.103,
You said there was no memory and swap issues.  How many users?
