1GB Memory for 110/120 Hardware

I have a 110 appliance I have for home use.  I need to upgrade to 1gb of RAM for the V8 upgrade.  I bought some RAM that should have met the specs but the unit would not boot with the upgrade.  Anyone know where I can get the correct RAM for an upgrade?  Thanks!!!

    If you have an older unit, you can't upgrade it at all (serial number starts with a 9)... the others, I think DDR or DDR2 RAM will work in.
