ASG220 as Softwareappliance - same ethx?

Hi,
have have reanimized one old ASG220 rev1 as an easy lab-machine for testing. It is installed with the ASG Software version. The system works, also the front LCD have reactivate with lcd4linux in runlevel and and and...

But the Networkinterfaces not match the driver eth´s. The eth0 on front is in the system the eth1, eth1 in front is eth3, usw. The eth´s will matching by kernels driver load, right?

How can change them to harmonise? Btw why its different with same Software but only other Licensemodel?

To test without pinging i locate it with this: for NIC in eth0 eth1 eth2 eth3 eth4 eth5 eth6 eth7; do ethtool -p $NIC 5; done

OK. That's why the interfaces are all messed up. The hardware ISO has a "map" to tell it how to allocated the NIC's in an Astaro appliance, while the software ISO does not and instead allocates them in detection order based on the driver.

You can try reassigning by mac address using ifconfig from the shell, but you may wind up hosing the install as well.

Next step is to transfer the solution for an ACC on old ASG220 Hardware [;)] (should post in ACC Forum)

Generate a file and modified like 70-persistent-net.rules, but how tell the acc system to execute (i think normaly should automatic, looks like runlevels)? Atm the ACC (v2.202) not do this or tell an error, but cant find so one. Which logfile used by udev?
