First off, this is my first post and I have been using ASG at home for about three years.
I am implementing a software ASG for the purpose to connect a remote office back via a L2L VPN to our main office's Symantec 5420 gateway. Every thing is set up but I need to verify how Astaro behaves regarding the license count algorithm for VPN connections.
The Symantec box does not count traffic through L2L IPSEC VPNs as licensed connections. This traffic is considered 'Inside'. Only traffic between 'Inside' and 'Outside' interfaces are count as licensed users.
We will only be purchasing the Network Security license.
Any insight?
