I received a new ASI USB stick yesterday. It's a v2. Haven't had much success yet.
First thing I tried was to download a version 8 image and install that to the ASI. It got to 4/11, and then when that step finished, it said that the operation had failed.
Next I downloaded a version 7 image, and that ran successfully.
Using that, I inserted it into an older 220 that I use for testing and booted up. The ASI flashes for a short time, then goes solid (blue light) but the process never finishes. I gave it an hour.
I also have a 120, also an older unit, and attempted to use the ASI to rebuild that one. Because the 120 has a video port, I could see what was happening. It gets past hardware detection, and then on the next phase, says the operation failed.
Is anyone else having these kinds of issues and is there something I'm missing? I wondered also if there is some firmware for the ASI itself but I can't find any.
