My virtual appliance version of Astaro (8.102) is running on 80% data disk capacity. The total disk space of the data disk is 8.6 GB. It suddenly exploded last night 04:35 AM from 43.88% to 80% 5 minutes later. [:S]
I don't know why and how this happend. But I am now searching for a sollution to clear the data disk. For this moment I tried to clear the log caches and have set the period of logging to a smaller time window. But I can't see any progress. Even after a few reboots I only saw a minor cahnge in the percentage ( from 80% to 79%).
How do I clear the data disk fast and nicely?
Today I found a hint on this forum to expand the harddisk partition in VMWare ESXi tot minimal 30GB. [:(] Sadly the harddisk was already 30GB. And it is a "thick" setup so I can't expand the drive anymore.
Now I tried something different. Add another HDD to the Appliance. I have created a new disk which is a thin version of 60GB storagespace. This I want to use as the Data disk for my Astaro Appliance. [:S] BUT....... How do I set the data disk to the new drive?
I am now thinking this will not be possible. Or I have to reïnstall the whole system, something I rather won't do.
I would rather have a few extra options in the management pane like [clear disk] [browse disk] and so on.
