ASG on ESXi networkcard passthrough

Hello all,

I have a supermicro server here and running ESXi 4.1 U1. I want to install this 4 port network card.
ASG install in a VM and this network card used as passthrough to ASG.

Board and CPU is possible to use passthrough.

Is this constellation supported by Astaro? 
I think I dont need VMware Tools. thats right?
Who can help me?

    Drew, the case I typically see is where someone wants to run a storage appliance like freenas or nexentastor or whatever with a raid array connected to a storage controller.  Without pci passthrough, performance blows.
