V7 and V8: Just what exactly is the difference?

I've been searching for information regarding the exact differences between V7 and V8, mainly the licensing and what exactly is the difference between each.

My V7 is still on the old license (from early 2009) and I'm looking into upgrading to V8. But the information available about the licensing and differences in the packages is next to nill (as in I cannot find anything specific). My main concern is obviously losing any of the current features that I need and use because its now a subscription feature under the new license and V8.

Hi,
there are a number of new features in V8 along with some improved processes.

Are you a home user or a business user?

If you are home user you loose nothing in security functionality in the upgrade. You do loose the ability to customise the error or other messages and gain access to extra functions, wireless security, WAP (internet server protection).
