Has anyone ever tried installing ASG8.0 on a DELL POWEREDGE R415 running 2 x AMD OPTERON with 8Gb of RAM? The CPU I am thinking of using is a AMD Opteron 4122, 4C 2.2GHz, 3M L2/6M L3.
if you use esxi then you don't have anything to worry about because the "hardware" presented is of a known compatible type. Instlal the OS tools for the astaro(if they aren't there already) to get best performance..[:)] Check the hcl for esxi for hte r410.
