Refusal of a local network after updating

After updating from version 8.003 to 8.100 or 8.101 there is a network switching-off on internal interface of ASG. Switch D-LINK (4-port) is connected to the internal interface. All the local network after the switch has ceased to receive addresses on DHCP. If to connect the computer directly to the internal interface it receives the IP address on DHCP and connects in the Internet.
With version 8.003 all worked normally.

    Why can't you get to webadmin?

    Is your license expired?
    Otherwise, it sounds like your configuration is badly messed up and you should re-install and start from scratch, instead of importing a backup?

    I have yet to upgrade to 8.3.  So, I will try the update method and check out the logs afterwards.

    I can't get to webadmin because the network interfaces do not work properly.  I cannot get to anything from the ASG's console.  nslookup, ping, ssh, etc. does not work properly.  It's like all of the interfaces are down, except they are not.  This is evidenced by ifconfig.

    I would rebuild for scratch if there were a way to print out all of the configuration changes that I've made (I've made a LOT).

    You can attach a USB memory stick and copy your current configuration:
    /var/confd/var/storage

    Are the hosts ARP resolved you try to ping?
    arp -an

    Anything in packetfilter log?
    tail -f /var/log/packetfilter.log

    Anything in selfmonitor log?
    tail -f /var/log/selfmon.log

    Good info to know!  Thanks for that.

    Hopefully I'll have more info this weekend when I try doing the update.

    Unfortunately/fortunately, I just updated to 8.3 using up2date and everything seems fine.  Maybe there was just something with the 8.2 updates that my config did not play nicely with.  I guess for now I'm good!
