Moving from software to two ASG220's

One of my clients has recently purchased two ASG220's. They are currently running the software product and I was wondering if there is any documentation that anyone knows of that would assist in moving the current config over to the new hardware, or if it is even possible. Please let me know.

    Moving the configuration is easy... just make sure the destination hardware is running the same version, or greater, than the source installation.  Make a backup of the configuration on the software-based unit (use the backup function in Webadmin) and save it to your laptop/desktop... then restore the backup file you created to the new unit.  When the 220 units have the restore completed, you will get a screen prompting your for a new license (software licenses will not work on Astaro ASG hardware appliances -- they require specific licenses)...

    You will need to get new licenses for those 220 units, though.  Talk to your reseller, in some cases you can get some "trade in value" for the old software licenses, it really just depends.

    Thank you! I got everything moved over. I am now working on checking if there are any upgrades to the version on the new appliances. They are currently running 7.508.
