How to install ASG on a System with RAID-Disks ?

Is ist possible to install ASG on a System with RAID ?

Within the installer there is only the possibility to choose a disk for the installation; i can't choose the Hardware-RAID or install a additional RAID-Driver

Astaro does support hardware RAID, but only with controllers on the HCL (Hardware Compatibility List). https://support.astaro.com/support/index.php/Hardware:CompatibilityList

There's RAID and then there's RAID. [:)]

What you most likely have is a RAID controller that's classed as a "fake RAID" unit. The 'raid controller' depends in part on the Operating System's drivers to provide the raid capability. It essentially offloads to the Operating System some of work, unlike a true hardware raid which does everything on the card.
