Expand drive space

I need to expand my data drive. In anything else Linux I'd just put in an additional drive, copy the /var/storage (I assume that's where this stuff is?) and then make the mount point for the new drive /var/storage. Can I do that with my ASG?

What's the recommended method for getting more drive space?

    The supported method is to create a fresh backup in Webadmin and download it off to another machine. Pop in a larger harddrive (or you could use two physical drives, if you have a hardware raid conroller on the HCL in RAID0). Install Astaro from ISO. In WebAdmin, import the backup file and click restore. Keep in mind that log data is not carried over.
     
    If you are business licensed with a support contract, you can contact your reseller or Astaro support and they may be able to assist you in doing something like spanning across two drive, but this would be entirely up to Astaro support to give approval. Doing this on your own would void your support contract.
