ASG V8: Unexpected reboots after updatedownload/ No Internetconnection

Hello all together,

two weeks ago I installed the latest version of Astaro Security Gateway Software Appliance V8 on a little machine driven by ASUS AT3IONT-I Board with Atom 330, 2 GB Ram and 40 GB SSD.
The installation runs perfect, but now there is a little problem.

Every time my ASG gets a new update (it looks all 15 minutes for new patterns and so), it suddenly reboots to install the new data. This is not so good, because my internetconnection goes down and if i try to pay something with creditcard in this moment or i work with onlinebanking, it is very very bad.
Is it possible that ASG asks me befor it reboots, so that i can choose "yes, please" or "no, later" or must i change the up2date-service to manual-download?

Yesterday it was very difficult: My ASG reboots again but after this, i wasn´t able to go to the internet again. I reboot my machine again and again but nothing. My Windows XP told me, there is no connection.
So i go to the network-settings of XP and inserted manual settings for IP, gateway, netmask and so instead of automatic DHCP. Windows now could get a connection, but the IP from my ASG was unreachable again (Firefox says, the server tooks to long for an answer).
There was no other way instead of erase all and make a fresh install of ASG on my little machine. Now it runs perfect, but the reboots are making stress to me. And now in this moment, the same problem like yesterday: nothing works

Is there anyone who knows about the reason?

    Hi, this sounds like a hardware problem.
    Astaro never reboots for pattern (A/V, IPS) updates; only sometimes for software version updates, and those are not that frequent and normally are triggered manually.

    thank you very much, ´hardware problem´ was the key note. The reason was my Speedport W701v from T-Com. Someone told me that it´s possible to switch off the included firewall by deactivating NAT and DHCP and enabling PPPoE-through. So i did. But when i looked at settings-menu of my Speedport, the firewall was still active. From a user-board i got the note, that it´s not possible to switch off Speedport´s firewall. So i did the following:
    Speedport: DHCP off, NAT on, PPPoE on. From the extern it get´s the DNS and IP from T-Online, to the intern i gave him IP 192.168.2.1. From his outgoing Port i connected him to the ingoing port of my astaro-machine. My astaro get´s to the extern IP 192.168.2.100, Gateway and DNS 192.168.2.1, PPPoE off, connection is standard-ethernet. To the intern it is IP 192.168.1.1, DHCP enabled. From it´s outgoing port it is connected to a switch, were my pc and notebook are logged.
    So now it´s working well.
    But i noticed another bug: While installation astaro says it will be formatting all partitions on my harddisk at astaro-machine. But it don´t do so. Because i reinstalled astaro 4 times while a thought of a software-problem, the fourth time it stopped installation. When i look to my harddisk using a hardwaretool, there are on bootpartition, one swapfile and now up to 6 or 7 datapartitions, so that my drive was filled up to the end. I erased all data by hand, and so i could reinstall astaro again.
