Slow Client web browsing when using ASG 8.003

I installed the home use version on a P4 2.8GHz PC with 1.5Gig RAM.
My CPU & memory usage look good, but the web browsing is very slow as compared to not using the astaro gateway.  I only have 2 PCs on my home network and the internet traffic usage is not maxing out the internet connection. ( ie. someone performing a large download )

The internet is so slow, that it feels like a DNS issue.  I have tried several different DNS settings for both the ASG setup and the client setup.  My WAN link is a mobile router running an EVDO card from Sprint.  I am familar with networking, as I am a network admin at my workplace.

I get emails from the Astaro gateway telling me my WAN link is up / down all the time.  

How should I debug this problem?

    Hi, ridgerunner, and welcome to the User BB!

    I'm guessing that this is a firmware setting.  You might try setting (on the 'Hardware' tab) the Astaro interface to a fixed speed and/or half-duplex.  I'm not familiar with that Sprint offering, but maybe you have an MTU mismatch.  If none of those work, I'd wonder if you don't have a hardware/cable problem.
