High Memory Usage

Hi,
I have an ASG on ESX 4 with 4Gb of RAM. The Firewall after reboot stay on 30% of ram usage but after some time (10 minutes or many hours) memory increase to 75-80% and stay on that values till next reboot.

Is Normal that memory stay on that values? if i check process running totale of memory percent is about 12-13%, where is it used the other RAM?

How much RAM do you have allocated to the ASG VM? and what other VM's do you have on the ESXi host?

Hi, most OS's, including Astaro, will use all available RAM for file caching and buffers.

If you are limited on RAM for the entire server, you could try limiting Astaro to 1GB or so, but it depends on which features you are using (such as caching proxy, WAF, ...).
