Dashboard Port Status

I have an ASG120 running two internet connections, cable modem on eth1 and a DSL line on eth3.

Both connections are up and working.  The cable modem on eth1 show a State Status of UP and a Link Status or Error on the dashboard.  With this status, my system couldn't establish an IPSEC tunnel over this eth1 and had to fail over to my DSL line on eth3.

Where can I identify in the logs what is causing this error issue?  I have a similar situation with another ASG at another site where the suspect internet connection is via a Clear WiMAX access point but I am concentrating on this first site because I just left the site with eveyrth9ng up and working about an hour n before this issue started occurring.

    Just a guess; ask the cable ISP to reset their modem.  I bet the logs won't show a thing.

    I started to post then it got deleted because I got side tracked... It helps if we pay the bill.  What was so strange is that inbound ping to the cable modem worked worked and outbound ping to the cable modem worked too.  Hope this helps some others to determine who to call if they experience the same.

    Now I need to venture south an hour to check out my problem with my WiMax sight.

    Yeah, many services out there are just giant proxy's and will still work for some things, but not others like web surfing. They do this so they can still communicate with their equipment.
