Hello,
I realise this has been asked alot and yes I know that some think a ITX Atom machine will do the same at the same price.
However I have been offered a 220 at a very reasonable price, about half the cost of a Atom machine. Another issue is the location for the firewall is pretty tight and I believe the hardware of these walls are a much better quality than standard home user hardware.
I really need the HTTP Reverse Proxy of the V8 for a couple of webservers and only having one public IP this is ideal. There is not much load on these sites and on the internal network there will only be max 5 users.
Besides that I run postfix mailserver, but again only 8-10 users..
Would the ASG 220 Rev1 be able to handle this ok?
Second question, will it still be able to handle at least 90 Mbps throughout ?
I dont need Clam AV, http client proxy and likely not IPS either.
Hope for some input before I buy.
Thanks in advance
