Update from 7.508 to v8 64bit?

Hi,

my question is, if it will be possible to update from 7.508 to v8 with a 64 bit kernel?

I cannot see any 64 bit iso version, will the decision be made during setup/update?

The software includes both versions, and there is no reason "not" to use 64 bit, as if your hardware supports it you have nothing to gain by using the 32 bit one, regardless of memory.

Yes, my big machine has 4GB but recognize only 2.7GB.
Because of PCI DMA mapped into the area around 3GB.
