Optical Fiber transceiver for ASG 525

We want to buy a ASG 525 and use optical fiber directly in the firewall. Did somebody try to use other transceiver than the one that is selling directly by Astoro like the the HP J4859C (HP X121 1G SFP LC LX Transceiver (J4859C) specifications - HP Small & Medium Business products) or an other type?

    Check with your Astaro reseller, but this is not something I, personally, have ever tried or would recommend.

    Of course I ask him but he tell me that there is no comptability. But if it's like Hp, there said there is none but it's working with a lot of other transceiver.

    I agree that it's probably compatible and should work, but I'm a big believer in "purity" when it comes to mission-critical devices.  If I have an emergency, I don't want to risk having unnecessary questions.  I see the extra cost as "insurance."
