Hi, I am planning to make AGS home edition for home use quite soon. Will be using some of the old unused parts in this build (160GB SATA HD, 4GB DDR2 RAM).
What I am not sure about, that is the processer between Intel Atom or Intel Core2Duo. Honstly I am more into favar of the Atom beause I can find it with fanless models (of course pre-build in to the motherboard). As I my place this in the living room (next to the modem) and I dont want any noise as possible. At the same time I am worried as I may suffer performace issues if it not fit my need:-
7 x Machines (3 desktops + 5 laptops) // some from of these are for friends when they visit most of the time.
5 x Mobile (4 Blackberry + 1 IPhone)
1 x XBOX 360

Note:
- As I mentioned before. We have friends who they join our network, so expect the above with +3 also for each.
- The general usage is Downloading , Youtube & gamming (WOW, SC2 & COD:Black OPS).
