SMTP fails after 8.02 upgtrade

Running an upgrade on ASG220 from 7.508 to 8.02.

After the upgrade, ASG fails to send any email notifications. Daily reports and backups fail to be sent.

Support tools with DNS lookup of SMTP server are successful. Pinging SMTP server using FQDN of SMTP server and IP address are also successful. ASG can definately route and talk to SMTP server as it worked perfectly well under 7.508. Problem began immediately after 8.02 upgrade.

Restart of daemons and reboot of ASG fails to fix the problem.

Suggestions?

This is issue apply to me too,
i can receive daily executive report only and can not receive all other notification, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ?????

Your issue sounds different. I lost all SMTP capabilities and not just some.

A call to Astaro Technical Support fixed it. Whatever it was it took them about 2 minutes to do.

I have same problem.
Notification didn't work after installing Version 8.
This Issue is very strange and weird.
I configure SMTP settings with authentication but it doesn't work.
