Hello all.
I have been a beta tester for ver7 and have now just rebuilt my machine and installed ver8.
The bios has an option called HPET (high precision even timer I believe) and it is recomended for vista 64bit. I have installed the 64bit version of the astaro box and all seems well.
This option only recomends that 64bit is enabled for 64bit vista and disabled for 32bit vista.
Should I have this enabled? I have searched the FAQ and google and cant find any mention about using HPET in a linux type OS. Also there is no mention as to having virtualisation enabled or disabled, is this of help to?
