Help with License please.

I'm new to Astaro, so here's what happen.  I download the lastest build of Astaro which i believe it's asg-8.001-20.1.iso build on 10/15/2010.  I burn the ISO and install Astaro to my P4 3.24Ghz, 1.0GB mem, 80GB HD with 3 NIC PC, everything install and run fine also all the feature are available and work great.  Downloaded my home license which was sent to me by email, uploaded and apply successfully, now all the feature are disable.  Restart the system with no luck same issue.  Download a fresh copy of my license file at myastaro upload and install it and still no go. I have restart the system a couple of time, check my date and time are to be correct and no luck all the feature are still disable.  It kept saying that "feature is disable as your subscription is missing or expired".  Here's my license:

One question, does the system have to be online before the feature start to functioning?  If anyone could help me i would be really greatful.  Thanks in advance.

  • no, the system doesn't have to be online, it should work regardless of a inet-connection.
Can you check that the time/date on the ASG is correct(has to be between start and stop date of your license)?
If that's the case, you could check the confd.log for any obivous error messages.
  • I don't know if this help but here's the config deamon log:
I have also check the time in the bios plus the time in Astaro, whichis correct.  Anymore idea?

    Thanks.
  • has to be between start and stop date of your license)

Doest this mean that if the register date is 10/21/2010 i'll have to applie the license the day after that to make it work?
  • i apologize for asking an unrelated question, but I am new to the forum also and cannot figure out how to create a new post for my issue.

How do you start a new post?  i checked the FAQs, but that starts with formatting your new post, not creating one.

    thanks.
