ASG 220 V8.002 with Home Use License

Hi...

I have an old one AG 220 Rev. 1, i have allready registert a Home Use License, 
and installed over an USB CD Rom the new 8.002 from the ssi-8.002-19.1.iso.

It´s up and running, but everytime i try to upload License File I get "Not a valid License"

Is it possible to activate the Home Use License on that ASG?

    Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

    The Home-use license only works with the software version, not the one you've downloaded. For tips on installing the software version on an Astaro Appliance, google: site:astaro.org software install appliance

    Hi Bob,

    i´ve allready try that too... first cleand disk, an than boot from the asg*.iso
    The light of CD is flashing but stops after several minutes...

    Nothing happens, i also try to get a putty serial session but their a can see also nothing.

    Hi, you'll probably need to get the VGA cable for the appliance, and hook up a monitor and keyboard; I don't think you can install over a serial console.

    Hi,

    i have a ASG 120 - i dowloades the Sofware ISO and tried to install - the installatonwizard tells me that this ISO ist not allowed für harware appliances -> to use the right iso - but with this "correct" ISO the license file does not work 

    Any ideas

    Delete /etc/asg from the Appliance to apply the Software-ASG ISO.

    If you can't login to the console to delete the file, you could try single user mode by using the GRUB prompt, or just erase the drive with DBAN or similar.
